    Welcome to Women's Health Research Day

    The event began with welcome remarks and lunch for in-person registrants.

    Women's Health: It's More than Menopause and Mammary Glands

    Drs. Dave Kao, Christina Metcalf and Amy Keller presented their research across the three focus areas of the Ludeman Center: cardiovascular disease, diabetes & metabolism, and the intersection of mental and physical health

    Mentorship Matters: Strengthening Relationships in Science

    This interactive panel looked at how to choose a mentor and develop a relationship that is supportive, productive, and mutually beneficial. This panel featured a diverse range of perspectives from an undergraduate mentee to award winning faculty mentors.

    Why Community-Academic Partnerships Matter: Sharing Trusted Information in a Misinformation Age

    This panel discussion featured leaders of local community organizations and explored why and how they want to develop partnerships with academic organizations.

    Advancing Women's Health Research with Data-Intensive Science: Leveraging the Power of Big Data, Genomics, and AI

    Keynote

    Barbara Stranger, PhD, Lyda Ludeman Endowed Chair in Bioinformatics in Women's Health Research, presented a keynote talk to the University of 麻豆传媒高清 Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Stranger’s work leverages human genetics and genomics data, along with electronic health records (EHRs) and data from large-scale population-based epidemiological cohorts, to map the genetic architecture of human traits, with a particular focus on how these genetic effects differ by sex and gender.
