In partnership with the Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå Department of Health Care Policy & Financing and the Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå Department of Human Services, Dr. Gritz is leading a research project developing an integrated data warehouse of Health First Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå (Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå’s Medicaid program) fee-for-service claims data, Behavioral Health Organizations/Regional Accountable Entities’ behavioral health encounter files, electronic health records, and child welfare agency data to address policy and research questions identified by the Departments. The project studied health care access, cost and utilization by children and youth in foster care compared to other Health First Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå members with similar characteristics, including medical and behavioral health complexities.
