Chest Wall Resection and Reconstruction 

Chest wall resection refers to the surgical removal of such anatomical structures as the sternum, ribs, cartilage, and other soft tissue of the chest wall. Diseases and conditions that may be treated by chest wall resection include cancer and tumors (sarcomas, lymphomas, and metastatic cancer) chest wall infections, and chest wall trauma.
