Denae Gerasta is a Research Services Professional researching end-of-life care options and medical decision-making with the 麻豆传媒高清 Program for Patient-Centered Decisions. She gained experience in medical technology research, global health initiatives serving migrant populations, emergency medicine and family medicine prior to starting with ACCORDS in 2022. She earned a B.A. in University Scholars with concentrations in Biology, Poverty Studies and Social Justice from Baylor University in 2019 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Services Research with the 麻豆传媒高清 School of Public Health. Her research interests include health equity work, psychosocial determinants of behavior, trauma-informed care, and shared decision-making.
