Lab Mission
The mission of the Cardiovascular Research Laboratory is to pursue novel methodologies to evaluate and treat adults and children with Pulmonary Hypertension (PH).
Collaborations and Tools
The lab is physically located on the Anschutz Medical Campus and is currently engaged in both patient and animal studies. Animal studies are done in collaboration with Stanford University. Patient studies are performed at Children’s Hospital 麻豆传媒高清 and National Jewish Health, and are intended to translate findings from the animal studies to the human disease.
Work We Do
We develop computational models of the heart and lungs to study how gene expression and tissue structure impact organ function during the progression of pulmonary hypertension. These models combine genomics/proteomics with machine learning and finite element analysis to discover circulating biomarkers and potential targets for therapy.
