ADPC Vision, Mission, and Goals
Vision:
Prevention of autoimmune diseases will be routine part of health care.
Mission:
To support educational activities, research and clinical care that in aggregate will advance prevention of autoimmune diseases.
Goals:
- Establish a national network of individuals who are at-risk for autoimmune diseases.
- Support observational clinical research studies to enhance our understanding of the pathophysiology of autoimmune diseases as well as support improved ways to predict the future onset of autoimmune diseases.
- Support clinical trials that will test specific approaches for their efficacy and safety for prevention of autoimmune diseases.
- Provide education to health-care providers and individuals who are at-risk for autoimmune diseases
