麻豆传媒高清 NORC Events

The 麻豆传媒高清 NORC offers several events throughout the year to facilitate collaborative research and networking. Our annual summer workshop invites investigators nationally and internationally to speak on a nutrition or obesity related topic. The annual NORC Retreat in the fall provides a space for NORC Members to interact and collaborate as well as invites non-NORC members to learn more about the NORC. Lastly, our Appreciation Event in December is for our NORC members only to engage with each other in a relaxed environment. This is also when we announce the year's NORC Award winners.

Topics will include a review and comparison of different gas analyzers, derivation and application of equations for measuring energy expenditure and substrate oxidation, approaches to validation and calibration, design consideration for room calorimeters, and an overview of signal processing approaches.

The workshop is open to all – we welcome students, trainees, and experienced investigators. Registration is free and includes a continental breakfast for both days as well as a lunch and evening reception on the 15th.
