What is HOMER about?

Your doctor will explain the process of starting treatment with buprenorphine (or Suboxone).  Treatment can start:

1. at the clinic
2. at home (not at clinic), with a plan that you follow
3. with your doctor using phone calls or video contact, but not at the clinic
   

Patients and doctors need to learn more about how long-term treatment is influenced by how treatment begins.  The HOMER study will help clinical care teams and patients better understand which method for starting treatment with buprenorphine (Suboxone) works best based on a patient’s unique needs.
