Nutrition Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå and Training
The Section of Nutrition provides training at all levels for health care providers, including:
- Required and elective courses for medical students at the University of Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå School of Medicine (CUSOM) at the Anschutz Medical Campus
- Lectures through the CUSOM Trek Curriculum for the pre-clinical medical students and for the pediatric clerkship
- Resident clinical nutritional training opportunities
- Nutrition T32 Post-Doc fellowship training​
- Continuing education for practicing physicians
- An elective for internal medicine residents
Current and Past Nutrition Fellows
Section faculty members also provide supervision for undergraduate- and graduate-level internships and practicum experiences. Internships include clinical, laboratory, and community-based research; development of clinical quality improvement projects; and analysis of dietary options available to Children’s Hospital staff and patients.
