Dr. Megan Mitchell is a graduate of the CU DPT program and teaches in a variety of courses across the curriculum including Medical Conditions I and III. Megan brings dynamic energy to the classroom and lab, pushing students to fine tune their skills and think deeply about their learning.
Megan works at Denver Health Medical Center providing highly skilled care within inpatient physical therapy, ICU, and the emergency department. She provides primary care for patients with spinal cord injuries. As a Clinical Instructor, she facilitates a highly supportive environment for students learning in these complex environments. She also specializes in emergency management, advocating for physical therapists to be a core part of disaster planning and management teams.
