    CU PT Congratulates Courtney Kinniburgh

    Courtney Kinniburgh, PT, DPT successfully completed the 2024–2025 Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency Program at the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå. Courtney will be continuing her journey in pediatric care as she steps into a full-time inpatient acute care role at Children’s Hospital Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå this September. She shares her insights from her time in residency.

This cumulative award recognizes the efforts of a student during their entire tenure at CU Anschutz. These students exemplify the words of the Norlin Charge given at commencement, encouraging students to “bear the university's torch, be the centers of her influence, and promoters of her spirit."

    CU Physical Therapy Celebrates the Class of 2024

    The CU Physical Therapy Program celebrated the graduation of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2024. Festivities were held over a three-day period, including the CU PT Alumni Association Graduation Party on Thursday, December 12th, the Convocation Ceremony on Friday, December 13th, and Commencement on Saturday, December 14th.

    Cory Christiansen, PT, PhD, Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, has been recognized as a 2024 Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the American Physical Therapy Association (FAPTA) at the APTA Leadership Congress in Kansas City. The fellow designation is the association’s highest membership category which is awarded to physical therapists whose careers demonstrate unwavering commitment to the profession and demonstrated leadership across education, practice, research, and advocacy.
