Our program, established in 1977, was one of the first federally funded primary care training programs in the nation. - Training residents at one of the premier primary care residency programs in the nation with a focus on care of vulnerable populations
- Providing flexibility in our primary care curriculum to prepare program graduates for careers in clinical practice, academic general internal medicine, and/or to pursue training in primary care specialties such as geriatrics, palliative care, public health/GIM, and more.
- Developing a richly diverse primary care workforce to better meet the needs of our communities while also fostering belonging within our program.
