Our fellowship will be utilizing a common application for all Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology programs. The common application can be found at the fellowship website through the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and is also included below. It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure that all required documents are submitted to the program coordinator by the appropriate deadline.
Applications will be accepted from all graduates of an ACGME accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Match will take place through the NRMP; please refer to the NRMP website for additional information ().
Our program requires three letters of recommendation: one from the Program Director of your residency program; the other two letters should be from Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty members in your residency program. If you have a PAG-focused faculty member at your institution, one letter from this individual is preferred. Applicants eligible for appointment must meet the following qualifications:
Selection will be made among eligible applicants on the basis of preparedness, ability, aptitude, academic credentials, communication skills and personal qualities (most importantly integrity and dedication), and letters of recommendation. USMLE and CREOG scores are used as one facet among many to suggest academic preparedness and no specific cutoffs are used to select fellows. Selected candidates must be able to function within parameters of a practitioner in the specialty of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
The agency used in the resident selection process will be the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Candidates will submit their applications to our program directly, following the guidelines as directed previously.
