Hometown: Havana, Cuba
Hobbies and favorite things I like to do in Denver: I love to play tennis, racquetball, and volleyball. In the Summer, I also enjoy to rollerblade and bike around the downtown to discover new restaurants, coffee shops, and cool breweries. Sometimes, I go on long scenic drives, my favorite is Highway 6 near Golden.
Professional interests: Pediatrics, head and neck oncology, facial plastics, and management of facial traumas
Alternate career choice (if not ENT): Car mechanic or entrepreneur
Program strengths: One of the main reasons I was attracted to this program, besides the people, was their top-notch pediatrics training. We are very fortunate to have over 10 fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngology attendings that are passionate about teaching and the work they do for their patients. During our residency, we complete about 10 months at Children's Hospital Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå, where we learn to do common cases such as T&A, but also get exposed to more complex procedures such as airway reconstructions, cleft lip and cleft palate repairs, cochlear implantations, and more!
