The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå and Children’s Hospital Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cell Therapy (BMT/CT) group have a one-year clinical pediatric subspecialty training fellowship. The Pediatric BMT/CT fellow will be provided with significant experience in all aspects of malignant and non-malignant pediatric BMT/CT including primary consultation, standard and alternative donor sources, gene therapy, graft manipulation, and manufacture and treatment with CAR-T and CTL products in our GMP facilities. Fellows will lead care for BMT/CT patients in both the inpatient unit, outpatient clinic and infusion center and have a mentored clinical research project with one of our BMT/CT physicians. Fellows will participate in weekly clinical and didactic educational meetings with the malignant, non-malignant, and immunology teams.
The CHCO Program provides FACT accredited BMT/CT care to over 100 patients a year across the western-states region for a variety of conditions including hemoglobinopathies, primary immunodeficiency and dysregulation, marrow failure, leukemia/lymphoma, and solid tumors (CNS and non-CNS). Our program has a large clinical research portfolio and supports investigator-initiated trials.
Admissions and Requirements: Applicants must have successfully completed a pediatric Heme /Onc fellowship and be able to obtain a Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå medical license. Admissions are on a rolling basis, so please contact us at your earliest convenience.
