Dr. L’Hotta is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and pediatric occupational therapist. Her research aims to support equitable access to rehabilitation for all children with cancer throughout the continuum of cancer care. A key aspect of Dr. L’Hotta’s work includes using community-engaged approaches to understand how to improve the quality of care from the perspective of those with lived experiences. In addition to expanding pediatric cancer rehabilitation infrastructure, she is focused on interventions to enhance cognition, social skills, child development, upper limb function, and overall life participation among children with cancer. Dr. L’Hotta provides clinical care as an occupational therapist in the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Hospital 麻豆传媒高清. She earned both her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and PhD in Rehabilitation and Participation Science from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship within the University’s National Cancer Institute-funded Implementation Science Center in Cancer Control.
