Mission: Grow the value of physical medicine and rehabilitation through collaborative discovery and development of innovative solutions that optimize human ability.

In this section you will find information regarding our faculty, selected research projects underway, and the PM&R pilot award program, as well as research resources for those within and outside the Department. Consistent with the mission of the Anschutz Medical Campus, research conducted within the Department is focused on improving the health, well-being, and healthcare experiences of populations seeking services from PM&R professionals.

In specific, work being conducted by interdisciplinary teams of researchers within the Department are aimed at increasing independence, functional abilities, and social role participation among those living with a wide-range of disabilities and chronic health conditions. Central to this effort are collaborations with local, national and international experts. We look forward to supporting continued innovation and discovery, with the goal of improving the lives of those receiving, as well as providing PM&R - related care.
