    Cory Christiansen, PT, PhD, Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, has been recognized as a 2024 Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the American Physical Therapy Association (FAPTA) at the APTA Leadership Congress in Kansas City. The fellow designation is the association鈥檚 highest membership category which is awarded to physical therapists whose careers demonstrate unwavering commitment to the profession and demonstrated leadership across education, practice, research, and advocacy.

  • CU Physical Therapy welcomes 108 new DPT students to the Class of 2026, including inaugural hybrid cohort

    The University of 麻豆传媒高清 Physical Therapy Program welcomed 108 new doctor of physical therapy students on May 30, 2024. 73 of those students joined the residential pathway on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, and 35 of those students joined a new hybrid pathway in partnership with the University of 麻豆传媒高清 麻豆传媒高清 Springs (UCCS).

    The CU Hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, which is a collaboration between the Health Sciences Department in the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences (Johnson Beth-El) and the Anschutz School of Medicine, begins this June. This summer, the Hybrid DPT program will welcome the first cohort of 38 students.
