Friends of General Internal Medicine

PEPP

Friends of GIM is a program grounded in listening to and learning from patients and community members to help us realize our mission: Transforming lives through innovative and compassionate care, education, discovery, and advocacy.

We invite individuals who are interested in partnering with us on projects and research studies across the Division of General Internal Medicine. By getting to know each friend’s interests and lived experiences, we can connect them with initiatives where their perspectives can make a meaningful difference.

Friends may help shape how we deliver care in the clinic, inform how we conduct research, or improve how we train the next generation of physicians. As clinicians, we recognize that our professional training gives us one lens—but not the full picture. That’s why we’re committed to learning from those we serve.
