Sarah Schwenk and Leslie Choi, co-directors of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Training at the CU College of Nursing, are featured in an article for . The PMHNP program trains advanced-practice nurses on how to treat mental illness and promote mental health to diverse patient populations in different settings. Upon taking the lead of the program, Schwenk and Choi expanded it, allowing students to have more rotations and more hours to get different levels of in-depth experience within their practice. 

Dr. Rachel Davis is featured in a  titled Altruistic Donors helping Strangers. This podcast shares how Dr. Davis altruistically donated a part of her liver to someone she did not know at the time. The liver recipient is Lety Ortiz, a 62-year-old female who needed a liver transplant to survive.

AWARDS

Dr. Celeste St John has been appointed to the Maternal Health Task Force convened by the Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and the Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative (CPCQC). Dr St John is one of the 50 members dedicated to preventing maternal mortality and morbidity, representing a broad range of diversity across the state.

Dr. Chloe Page won a CU System Open Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå Resources (OER) Champion award for her work that included the  she created alongside Clint Carlson, MS, BS.
