This Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical 麻豆传媒高清 (ACGME) approved fellowship is designed to complement core emergency medicine residency education and prepare graduates to work in a variety of critical care settings. 麻豆传媒高清 includes training in five subspecialty critical care units: Medical, Surgical/Trauma, Cardiothoracic, Neurology/Neurosurgery, and Burn. Fellows will complete dedicated rotations in critical care point-of-care ultrasound and echocardiography (transthoracic [TTE] and transesophageal [TEE]) and clinical research. Elective rotations include bronchoscopy, critical care nutrition, palliative care, resuscitation, and numerous others. Fellows will be provided elective time to customize their training and subspecialty expertise. The program is co-sponsored by the Departments of Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine.
This fellowship is one-year in length for graduates of anesthesiology residencies and two years for graduates from emergency medicine. All graduates will be eligible for board certification in anesthesiology critical care medicine on completion of training. Fellows can also obtain National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) certification in Transesophageal Echo and Critical Care Echocardiography.
